Together with its partners – Public Institution “Lispa”, Public Institution Institute for Social and Business Development, Marijampolė Sūduva Gymnasium, and Public Institution “Rainos Svajonės” – CIE LT Forge is participating in the “BeTech Academy” project.

“BeTech Academy” is a program running from 2025 to 2027, designed for young people aged 16–29. Its aim is to provide practical technological and engineering skills, introduce participants to the labor market, and help them discover their professional path. Participants will attend career events, take part in consultations, visit companies, and the most motivated young people will gain hands-on experience through volunteering, internships, or apprenticeships.

What makes “BeTech Academy” stand out is that it combines learning with practice. During the six-month training program, participants will explore topics such as mechanics, automation, digital technologies, and production processes. They will develop prototypes, work in teams, and collaborate with business representatives. This experience will not only strengthen their knowledge but also provide a clear understanding of how technologies are applied in real workplaces.

“In our region, engineering and technology professions are becoming increasingly in demand. We see a clear need to develop young people who can apply technological solutions not only in theory but also in practice. That is why BeTech Academy’ is such an important initiative for us. It allows us to contribute to shaping the next generation of specialists while also strengthening Marijampolė’s future as an industrial hub,” says Darius Masionis, CEO of CIE LT Forge.

The project is co-funded by the European Union and the Municipality of Marijampolė, with a total budget of €51,335.11.
