The acquisition of washing equipment of forging machines to reduce the amount of waste generated by economic activities

CIE LT Forge implements measures to reduce waste generation.

CIE LT Forge is implementing the project "The acquisition of washing equipment of forging machines to reduce the amount of waste generated by economic activities”.  During the project eco-friendly, automated forging equipment washing facilities will be installed in order to reduce waste (that is, graphite contaminated water) formation. Having integrated this technology, in forging equipment washing process contaminated water will be separated from the equipment and converted into machine emulsion, which is collected in a special container and transferred to waste management. The project is expected to achieve a very high environmental effect, as this will result in only about 5 percent of machine emulsion waste from the former graphite oil-contaminated water waste.
The project acquired forging equipment washing facilities are provided by Lithuanian Environmental Investment Fund (LEIF) subsidy of EUR 16,296.00. The subsidy has been granted under the mentioned fund’s funding guidelines approved in 2014.
CIE LT Forge pursuing this project seeks to implement cleaner production, leading to harmony of human activities and nature.
